Donna Lalley, Kent Lalley, Succumb to Injuries From Ocean Boulevard Car Accident.

Update: According to Tribdem.com, "Donna Lalley, 50, and Kent Lalley, 57, died Saturday [June 8, 2019] at a Savannah hospital," due to injuries sustained in the June 1 Ocean Boulevard car accident.

A motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles left two people dead and two others seriously injured Saturday evening, June 1, 2019. According to TheBrunswickNews.com, a speeding 2019 Camaro collided with a 2011 Dodge Caravan, killing both occupants of the Camaro and leaving the occupants of the Dodge critically injured. According to the report, "the silver Camaro was traveling southbound on Ocean Boulevard “at a high rate of speed” when the collision occurred at 5:53 p.m. Saturday." The news story states "[t]he Camaro was partially in the northbound lane, prompting the driver of the Dodge Caravan to make efforts to avoid impact...[t]he Camaro struck the passenger side of the Caravan head-on on Ocean Boulevard...near St. Simons Elementary School." 25-year-old Callie Dean of Blackshear was one of the occupants in the Camaro who was fatally injured. The two critically injured occupants of the Dodge were flown by helicopter to Memorial Hospital in Savannah according to the report.

The incident remains under investigation and according to the report, Georgia State Patrol suspects alcohol played a role in the deadly crash.
